Plain version: we collect what we need to get a parcel to you, plus anonymous browsing stats so we know how the shop and our ads are doing.
Last updated 2 October 2026
When you place an order we collect your name, mobile number, delivery address, and your email if you choose to give one. If you pay by bKash or Nagad we also store the transaction ID you enter so the payment can be reconciled.
Your bag is stored in your own browser. It is not sent to us until you place an order.
While you browse, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel record which pages and products you look at, what you add to your bag and whether you place an order, along with your device, browser and rough location. None of this includes your name, phone number or address.
When you place an order we also send Meta a scrambled (hashed) copy of your phone number, email, name and city. Meta uses it to match the order to a Facebook or Instagram account, which tells us whether the order came from one of our ads.
To confirm the order by phone, deliver it, and handle any exchange afterwards. The browsing stats tell us how people find the shop and use it, and which of our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to orders. We do not sell or rent your details to anyone.
The courier handling your parcel receives your name, address and phone number, because they cannot deliver without them. Google receives the browsing stats, and Meta receives the browsing stats and the hashed order details described above. Nobody else does.
Order records are kept for two years for accounting and exchange claims. You can ask us to delete your details before then - see below - although we may keep the minimum needed for tax records.
Email hello@retrostreetbd.com to see what we hold on you, correct it, or ask for it to be deleted. We respond within seven working days.
Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel set cookies to recognise a returning browser and to tell whether a visit came from one of our ads. You can block them in your browser settings or with a content blocker - the shop works the same without them.
Separately, your bag is kept in your browser's local storage so it survives a refresh. That data never leaves your device until you check out.
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
